Tackle the first big climb and decent from Virginia City to the Ruby Valley. Cruise along the Ruby Reservoir and refuel at the turn around aid station before it gets any harder - you still have a beast of a hill to get back over again on the return to Virginia City! Food and fun await at the finish, plus it's a great place to hang out if you are waiting for someone doing the Lollipop.

Take on the big climb out of Virginia City and then turn around at the first refreshment station and go back. You don't have to climb it twice if you don't go down the back side! Start with the hard-core group, or sleep in a little and start later on your own schedule. Kick back at the finish in the park and enjoy the food and fun at the Bike Festival!
